Lothian Vehicle Bodybuilders is a Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilding business, based in West Lothian, Scotland, from our purpose-built facility our company is led by our Managing Director Jackie Docherty and Sales Director Robert Anderson-Graham between them having over 50 years industry experience.
The workforce consists of experienced welders, coachbuilders, automotive electricians and spray painters. The quality of materials used, together with our highly skilled staff, ensure that all customers receive a premium product which will stand the test of time.
Being top ranked in the UK we have achieved rating positions on Scotland Excel Tender framework, Link/Halton housing Tender framework and most recently First place UK ranked for Lot 5 Specialist Conversions up to 44t on the TPPL /NEPO224 Acquisition & Conversion of Heavy Goods & Specialist Vehicle Framework Agreement this along with other Frameworks & vehicle conversion contracts puts LVB at the forefront in the vehicle conversion market.
Lothian Vehicle Bodybuilders has received European Whole Vehicle Type Approval from the Vehicle Certification Agency for both N1 and N2 multistage vehicles. VCA Conformity of Production certificates are also in place.
